I can't use it for the site because even compressed to 0% Jpeg quality, which looks horrid, It's still well over half a megabyte, not small enough for use here. 200KB absolute max.
The images have to be that large for users with massive monitors, so they don't see the edge.

But just because it can't be used here, doesn't mean it can't slot right in behind your icons.
