Hello
I read somewhere that the Vista user account control isn't safe? Like it can be activated with software, so it's not ust annoyin but no point to it too. Is that right?  :-/

I think you've confused the news you may have read recently suggesting that Windows 7's UAC isn't secure.
That story is that the UAC can be disabled from some kind of settings dialog which doesn't prompt for the UAC confirmation. Meaning a script could turn it off... That's not confirmed as far as i know and even if it is, I'm sure it'll be fixed by the release of Windows 7.

But you mentioned Vista. The Vista UAC is totally secure.
It cannot be automatically dismissed by simulated human input. The Vista User Account Control runs on a completely seperate virtual desktop envirnment, hense the flickering that almost everyone experiances.
The Vista kernel enforces that only actual HID devices (human interface devices) can dismis the prompt.

Most people have the UAC turned off, but for those who can tolerate it, it's an extra security feature, a good one.

And welcome  ;)
