If I wanted an Icon for my site, Like the Geek Imo 'G' How would I go about doing it?
I already have the logo file. It's just how would I do it?

I'm thinking it would go somewhere in the
<head>
</head>
Tags, Where the title is displayed

Make sure favicon.ico < (also make sure it's called favicon and also is .ico file type) Make sure it's in your document root. Your right you need to place that code in the head of your page and remember, that path is relative.
