I have decided, seeing as there is a lack of decent USB-Drive-Friendly applications that are really useful, or just arent as good as they could be, to start creating a new fasion of portable apps.

My second development i will start in 5 minutes and it will be a fast, easy-to-use, portable web browser.

For those wondering, my first development is the download link finder Kuroko. Which finds download sources for users/subscribers of these services:

Rapidshare.com
Rapidshare.de (yes they ARE different)
MegaUpload
FileFactory
ZShare
SendSpace
DepositFiles
MediaShare

If your a fan of downloading then why not try out kuroko?

You can download it here http://rapidshare.com/files/102407750/Kuroko.rar.html

Feedback also appreciated.

I should also note that, while being USB-Friendly, Kuroko was not specifically programming to be a 'Portable' Application, and is encouraged to be used on peoples day-to-day computers if they enjoy downloading from such services.

Can't you modify it to not store any prefs or files in %appdata%? If it stores all settings, prefs and files in the same dir, then it would be portable instantly...  :-/

Im confused here... is that a suggestion or does Kuroko actually do that?
Because i know Kuroko works well in USB-Drives already O.o
And as far as the coding goes kuroko shouldn't save anythign in appdata.

I was taking that comment to mean it won't work very well as a portable app?
I was just saying that all that's necessary for simple programs to be portable is everything stored on the usb drive...  :-/

Oh right xD
No it meant when i built it i didnt have portability in mind.
But in my other comment i mentioned about it being 'USB-Friendly'.

Basically when i built it, i didnt have portbality in mind, and i enourage people to use it on their PC's, but if one WANTED to take it with them thats fine, as it is prefectly portable.
