Google Chrome Is Damaging The Internet

The fantastic new browser from Google (Available to Download) is truly remarkable.

But concerns have been hovering around the net that the new browser could cause the following:

1. Change the way domain names are chosen.
2. Flood small sites with shared hosting with traffic which would overload them.
3. Remove traffic from other sites which already get a fair amount of traffic.

This is because, Unlike Firefox and most other browsers with a URL suggestion, These browsers suggest your history of URLs, Presuming your probably wanting to revisit these sites.

Google Chrome on the other hand, Suggests sites you've never even heard of. Based on the first few characters you enter into the unified Address bar/Search box.

I know google Chrome is still in an early Beta, But a feature like that doesn't seem like it's going away fast, Unless a heavy body such as ICANN steps in and says "No".

I really hope they fix that. It sounds like a really useful feature but it can have a massive impact on the way the net works.
