Macbook Wheel? New Laptop, No Keyboard...

Apple have announced the Macbook Wheel...
A new laptop with absolutely no keyboard. Apple claim their revolutionary giant click wheel completely does away with the traditional keyboard and letters are selected via an on screen scroll panel of characters to choose from.

Personally, I really can't see this becoming very popular. Other than hardened mac fans buying it because it's the latest gizmo, who with $2000~3000 to spend would actually spend it on something so ludicrous?

I think while it may be tolerable once you've gotten used to typing on the new wheel, I don't think typing very long letters, typing complex things such as programming would be very pleasurable.

It would instantly give every user the ability to "touch" type though.  ;)

No one noticed the onion on the channel logo or checked apple.com?

Being an apple fan. Having three apples in the RV. This product is not real.

It matches there design esthetic though. Making the GUI a simple and elegant as possible. But that product not real.
