It's set in the past. An alien that looks just like Bill Clinton comes from space to take over the presidential election.
You're goal is that your the only human who knows this information.
You have to stop the alien at all costs but the aliens will try to stop you.
In the end: you fail anyway and realise there was only ever ONE Bill Clinton, the alien itself.

A 2D Torment fighter with RPG & strategy elements that has a classic revenge narrative of a parental or love one.
It emphasis is on actuality of sword combat with different styles that go along with the different swords.
Along with the emphasis on style; is footing, striking accuracy, handedness, weapon quality (heaviness, piercing, slicing) so on and ect.
As each fight progress, depending on difficulty (the closer the fight, the more XP gain with even loss gaining XP. Winning doesn't teach for the most part). Which is thrown into spending it along the style into better footing so forth.
There is no health gauge per se; as an endurance bar. Which is gradually declining as the fight progresses. The style of fighting determine some aspect the continual and gradual decline of the endurance bar.
The more devastating technique taking more energy so forth.
Dodging is the default animation for taking a hit that decreases the endurance bar. For an example, in a normal tournament fighter, there is physical contact made and you loose health. This cannot happen in this game, as physical contact with bladed weapons induce serve injuries.
Blocking is probably the only active defense.
The character can rest to regain their endurance back.
When a character has zero endurance left, they are in a KO/ classic kombat FINISH HIM stage wherein they can be killed so forth.

It sounds like one of those dreams that combines about 40 things you heard or did during the day...
