At challenge number four; I'll introduce the first retouch task. Below is a picture of the British comedian, Catherine Tate.
It's a particularly unflattering photo and the task is simply to make her as beautiful as possible, You can either use a subtle approach or go all out, Your choice.

Upload your results in the jpg format and make sure an un-flattened PSD or PSB file is available upon request.

Is it hell.. Just normal retouching... I'll be uploading my results later... I was kind of hoping for more people to take part in these though, it's pretty much just me so far..  :-/

Cloud, If you don't know how to retouch photos, visit tutcast.com, howard runs that site and it's all about photoshop tutorials. He's got a youtube channel iceflowstudios and also donnie hoyle from mydamnchannel with the "you suck at photoshop" tutorials are awesome too. Watch vids, Practice what you've seen and you'll be confident with it within a week or two.

OK, so here's my results. I went for the all out approach.. She needed a lot of work... Maybe a bit over done but hey.. It's an improvement...

looks pretty damn good!  i'm trying this right now, but since i installed linux the other day, i don't have photoshop any more.  i'm still learning how to use GIMP
